NOBEL PRIZE AWARD

A few days ago, we learnt that the Nobel Prize Award went to a Canadian, almost unknown for most of people, writer Alice Munro. It serves us as an excellent  excuse to start this section of the blog, consisting of posts related to the sphere of influence of English language.

This woman, born in Ontario (Canada) in 1931, is considered as one of the "master of the modern short history". As specialists say, her style is accessible. She uses to write short stories and so that she is known as the modern Chekhov.
